Voting started on Tuesday as there are only 2 home games in April.

Usual rules apply:-
One vote per fan
voting forms without the fans name on will be judged void
voting forms without a mark against your chosen player will also be judged void.

Voting forms will be in the home programmes in addition to some in the club shop next to the ballot box.

The winning player will be announced at the Player Presentation Night - currnetly I understand the date is being worked on.

Definitely Ollie Burgess for his consistently superb performances. It's been a great season for him, and I'm sure we can all recall his fantastic runs at opposition defenders, pinpoint crossing and defense splitting passes, as well as his workrate and effort in performing his defensive duties. The only other player that can match him is Matt Gearing, and it's only because Burgess has played more games that I have to choose him.

Biggest Waste Of Space award can be renamed in honour of Gary Fitzgerald.

What about a special "Leon Gutzmore Award" for the player who puts in the least amount of effort for the largest wages. You might as well let Burgess keep the trophy...

Not being a regular contributor on this site but avid reader and not wishing to seem thick ! can someone tell me if hhtfc is being serious about Burgess ? He must be the biggest waste of space left in the team along with Coulson. The amount of times they pass to the opposition must put them high on the man of the match award list from the travelling fans each week.

Forgive me, I must not have made my sarcasm clear enough. I wasn't being serious, I think Burgess is a liability and is a perfect representation of why our season has been so disappointing, namely a lack of effort and work summed up by his complete lack of goal/chance creation and defensive covering. What I also meant by my post is that Matt Gearing is almost as useless, but Burgess plays more games (and I am informed) is paid much much more, thus why I hold his inept displays against him far more than I do Gearing.

As for Coulson, he looks like a distinctly average player, so I can't really set him any higher or lower than the majority of this seasons squad. I realise most of my posts this season have sounded like bitter rants at anyone and everyone, but I'm very disappointed we didn't build on the start we had, or even the opportunities the teams around kept (and still keep) giving us. The fact we're still sitting in seventh place just sums to me how crap the opposition in this league is, which then annoys me when I remember that we've failed to beat a good portion of it.

i'm as pissed off as you, hhtfc,at the way this season has gone but i can't help feeling it's a bit unfair the way you single out ollie burgess for your rant.
everyone is entitled to their opinion but is it really necessary to post it so bluntly,i bet he feel's great knowing what's posted about him on here.
