| Merthyr missed a 93rd minute pen. Poor result against a relegation-threatened team, especially since Bashley lost and Gloucester drew. |

An 8 hour round trip and Hemel never had one shot on target the whole game,but still a great day out.A great atmosphere,plenty of singing from the Hemel fans,never heard a peep out of the home crowd.

A draw a fair enough result in the end i thought. Conditions were awful for both sides and the officials did neither side any favours.
Lucky to get away with the penalty miss, but our finishing was woeful again on the two openings we did have. We must learn to take our chances more.
Never mind - I'd have settled for a point beforehand so i'm not too unhappy. |

From the Merthyr forum.....
...Attendance given as 265. There were several from Hemel Hempstead who were the best supported club we've played for some time.

ive always said that no one has to sing and your no less a supporter to those who do BUT when we are all bursting into song we can be quite loud and the players love it.
