A good early performance from a Levy green side packed with ex-tudors
saw them take a 3-0 lead early in the second half.
A Goal from ex-tudor Tony Sears gave the home side a 1-0 half time
lead, & two other former Hemel lads James Armstrong and
Mick Swaysland (penalty) seemed to have wrapped up a pretty
uninspired showing for the visitors so far.
The rash of substitutions at the break for both sides however began
to turn the match around, as Hemel slowly fought their
way back into it. First Ollie Burgess headed Drew Roberts corner kick
in at the far post on 55 minutes, and Nathan Bowden-
Haase finally scored the equaliser on eighty minutes in the same
fashion.
In between Roberts himself scored the goal of the game - a direct
free-kick from all of thirty yards just after the hour,
that he drove low around the wall and inside the near post, catching
the keeper napping.
In the end Hemel had far more of the attacking play, but lacked some
cohesion, which stopped them from breaking down a
stubborn home defence that resorted to hacking well before the final
whistle, & this saw Fabio Valenti substituted thanx to a
nasty injury with a quarter of an hour left.
