I popped over to Barton on Tues night (because I couldn’t get away from work to travel down to mangotsfield) to watch their FA cup replay.
It was dreadful! If I was the so-called money man putting all this cash in I would want changes, the defense was diabolical, (dean buss was on the bench) midfield couldn’t pass urine, the only thing they did have was Dean Brennan who looked confident and able up front.
It does make you think that money does not buy success; also I think I boosted the crowd! There could have been no more than 50 people there.
The 5-0 score really flattered them |

It would seem that Dean Brennan has found his level in football terms,I think that's 6 goals for him in the last 3 games. When he came to Hemel I thought he was going to be a great signing but after a while he didn't seem to quite have what it takes for Southern Premier football.Anyway, good luck to him at Barton and I'm sure he's only there for the football and the money has nothing to do with it |
