Surely they'd be better sharing with Thame or even Tring Athletic ? What happened to their old ground - it used to be quite a tidy place. They weren't taken over by a property developer were they ? Rolling Eyes Confused

Buckingham Road stadium is still standing - although its completely overgrown now.
Aylesbury have already looked at going back there but reckon that the cost of sprucing the place back up to grade standard was just too prohibitive.
Its owned by a property developer, but i understand there are problems with getting planning permission for it as they have to prove it cant be used for sport. but you know local councils, someone will bung a few quid at the right person sooner or later...
Shame really as it was a good little stadium, but Aylesbury got well turned over by their previous owner (Carroll?) who (if i understand the situation correctly) basically bought the stadium for himself with the clubs monies and then sold it from under them.
