I suspect he doesn't give a crap what I think about him, and if he does, perhaps it will encourage him to do something about it - namely put in a bit more effort. Let's not forget that this guy has played League football and seems to be earning his money seemingly on that reputation alone.
You're entitled to your opinion as well, but I stand by mine. |

Forgive me, I must not have made my sarcasm clear enough. I wasn't being serious, I think Burgess is a liability and is a perfect representation of why our season has been so disappointing, namely a lack of effort and work summed up by his complete lack of goal/chance creation and defensive covering. What I also meant by my post is that Matt Gearing is almost as useless, but Burgess plays more games (and I am informed) is paid much much more, thus why I hold his inept displays against him far more than I do Gearing.
As for Coulson, he looks like a distinctly average player, so I can't really set him any higher or lower than the majority of this seasons squad. I realise most of my posts this season have sounded like bitter rants at anyone and everyone, but I'm very disappointed we didn't build on the start we had, or even the opportunities the teams around kept (and still keep) giving us. The fact we're still sitting in seventh place just sums to me how crap the opposition in this league is, which then annoys me when I remember that we've failed to beat a good portion of it. |
FACT: If it was just bateman pulling the strings at the beginning of the season Sippo and sincs would still be here. Bateman WILL get us promotion if not this season he will next season i think we and indeed bates has learned from the nicholls experiment that 2 managers dont work and with the current set up, we can only get better. i might not agree with HHTFC's view but fair play for standing by what you beleive in.
6 points from the next 2 games should give us a fighting chance. creating chances seems to be the problem _________________ WALKA FOR CLUBMAN OF THE YEAR 2008

adeyfieldrtudor ,this site would not be worth reading if fans did not express opinions. At your next game just watch how many times burgess plays a pass short, kicks the ball out the ground from the six yard box and passes to the opposition to put us on the defensive. I just hope we put up a good show over easter for a positive run in to the end of the season.

As far as I'm concerned, Bateman has delivered two playoff appearances in two seasons and has brought in some great players. Now that Darren Salton is alongside the fitness and tenacity of the players seems to have improved, and there's a better attitude on the pitch thanks to the absence of some others. I'm fully behind Bateman and hope that we can make the step up next season. |

To be honest Mark Coulson has been one of hemels most effective players all season with consistent performances and his supply of crosses into the box. |

Can't say I agree (we've put in so few crosses this season), but he has been consistent, though whether consistently average counts as a positive I don't know. |

| Well, it looks like noone else will say it, but hopefully Saturday's game has gone some way to proving my point. |

The whole back four did well on Saturday, but that's not what I'm referring to and you know it! |
