Hemel won 2-1....h/t 2-0

Coulson scored with a cracking free-kick, & then Jackman added a second as a mainly second string Tudor eleven threatened to overwhelm the Berks in the first half hour.
But then as usual having gotten ahead we stopped playing and gradually Berko worked their way back into it.
Butler scored from the penalty spot midway through the second half as Hemel continued to sit back and make them look good.
A win in the end though, & either Tring Athletic or Oxhey Jets in the final at Berko on May Bank holiday Monday.

A case of "job done" for the 3rd sucessive game. Gloucester lost 2-1 at Halesowen, which is a pretty good result for us. Let's hope we can put some points on the board over the next 3 games. Very Happy

From what I was told by one of the West Herts FA on Tuesday, the St Mary's Cup Final will be at Vauxhall Road again this year.

From the Berko website: Confused Confused

St Marys’ Cup
It is our turn to host the final and we will be hoping to reach it for the 3rd year running. A 3-2 home win over Metropolitan Police Bushey with goals from Neal Perrin, Matt Wardle and Andy Mullins started this year’s run. The semi final at Vauxhall Road against Hemel Hempstead Town will take place on Tuesday 11th March. It is a repeat of last season’s final that ended 3-2.

I'd rather watch it on a council pitch at Pennine Way than at that depressing hovel in darkest Inbredsted.
