As I have stated before the way forward is to bring back the nucleus of the squad to be local.
The most successful period this club had was under the leadership of Neil Price and the backbone of the team was made of local players who played for the shirt and had rappour with the supporters on and off the pitch.
We have paid big money for players from north east west south London and players that are from miles around Hemel Hempstead who are only interested in big fat weekly salaries. If this club needs to move forward it needs to smell the roses and see the reality that is Hemel Hempstead Town FC 2008.
I know Steve Bateman and the Dave Boggins read this forum so please give me an honest response to the points that I raise! |

for a start you cant force players to sign for the local team, secondly if there are any good enough and willing to compete for a place in the team i'm sure they would already have been considered.

I think it was Tapper that said on Saturday that he could play better than our forwards,so that's 2 local lads we could sign......

Steve Bateman and Dave Boggins are quite easy to find on match days, if you're that curious why dont you ask them in person?

Nope, wasn't me....show more interest in the cause maybe, but at 18 stone certainly not "play better"  |
