can anyone tell me who this sports ground used to belong to? (this is not a quiz, i just want to know) I walked in to the field this evening and got a big sense of deja vous...

bit wierd as I used to run one of the Lucas teams and played literally meters away from this ground for years, as well as having lived next door to it in Hales Park since April, and I just wandered in to be nosey earlier without realising the field was there.

Not sure of the road set-up these days but from what I can remember you used to go down Wood Lane End and at the end turn left and Addmult's ground was on the left a little way up.

Admults ground was opposite Kodak's ground on the other side of Wood Lane End. Opposite Woodwells farm on your map (To the right of the brown square)
I played there a couple of times for my works team in the 70's. In those days Buncefield lane went all the way down to join with Cherry Trees Lane.

so it was on the site which I think is now the Gillette warehouse.

Seems a shame the former Kodak and Lucas grounds are not put to better use, would be nice for some quality pitches to be allocated to local teams so the players didnt have to run the gaunlet of dog shit and pot holes on other local facilities.
