We were awful, and if they could shoot straight we would have lost about 6-1. Chris Herron is an utter liability, and if we're not careful we're going to find ourselves very close to the relegation spots.

Rant over. We were crap and we aren't getting any better.

Can't argue with that really.
In the first half,as an attacking force we were non existant, minimal service to the front two and when there was it was wasted.Steve Bateman must have noticed it as well because he made an inspired substitution at half time by bringing on Yeboah and he capped a great and well deserved comeback with the equaliser. This draw against one of the leagues top sides could well be the springboard with which to get our play-off push back on track......... I see Anthony Thomas couldn't get on the bench for Barnet again today..surely we could get him back on loan if only to keep him match fit for them?
Dean Brennan scored twice today too..

Barton came from behind against Stourport in a match watched by a whole 44 people, neither Sinclair nor Sippetts on the scoresheet. Dean Brennan was an overweight waste of space last season, funny how we ruin players like that.

Chrissy Herron got himself about to be fair and gave all he could and the problem was the movement also and that was not existant todayfrom anyone who did not have the ball.

the 3 porblems as i see it is
1, we cant seem to string 3 passes together in a row
2, we dont create enough chances hense Buisneys 1 shot one goal chant
3, and we take 25 minutes before our heads are in the game! the last few games we have conceded goals around the 20th and 25th minute.

i agree with HHTFC that if Gloucester desided to shoot straight we would of got a complete spanking.

Im confident steve and Darren will change it around but i has to be done sooner rather than later. Bedford are next and the return of Sozzo!

A really poor performance today, one of the worst I have seen from a Hemel side. We are lucky Gloucester are an average at best side, although they will feel unluckly not to have taken the points. A few weeks ago it seemed mad to talk of relegation, but if we continue to see the total lack of fight we saw today, it may just happen.

Got to disagree, I don't remember Herron putting himself about at all. The most telling part was a loose ball down the left wing that a Gloucester player went to collect, only for Herron to walk lethargically toward him as if he could simply no longer be bothered. He was one of Gloucesters best players today as he started most of their attacks in the second half. It's not a one off either, he's been awful for a good while now. Granted they were all utterly gutless today, but he took the cake.

General view from them is our goal was a foul on the keeper - can't say I agree. It was nice to finally see a 50/50 challenge stand without instantly giving a foul on the keeper, particularly as the Hemel player did nothing more than put him off, the fact he dropped it was entirely his own fault.

You saw the best and worst of us today. We create loads of chances but simply can't put them away. Jack had a mare in front of goal, I still can't believe he didn't score when he nipped around your keeper, but that seems to be the way that it's going lately.

I can't ignore the comment that we're an average side, we're not, we're one of the better teams in this league and will contest for a place in the playoffs, maybe at your expense!!!

I thought your goal was a foul too but the fact that none of our players complained, including Kev, would probably suggest that it wasn't.

Not that the ref would've spotted it mind cos he'd already let the eye gouging go in the first half when Jack was through Rolling Eyes

It won't be at our expense - we won't be anywhere near the playoffs no matter what you do.

Drew Roberts last scored a league goal in the 2-1 home defeat against Yate on Dec 22,but how many other league goals has he scored since the begining of November,16 league games ago.

Sorry Neil, but its true. We played very poorly when we came down to FGR and it was only because your boys were as befert of ideas as we were that we came away with a point, similarly to today. My comments were a critisism of Hemel not Gloucester and if you get to the play-offs I would wish you good luck.

I think today was probably a mirror image of the game at the Lawn but with a goal each instead. We considered ourselves lucky to get a point that day but today I feel mugged!!!

From current season records...

ROBERTS, DREW (FORWARD)
Apps (Sub Apps in bkts):
Friendlies 05, League 27, Cups 11(01), TOTAL 43(01)

Goals (of which Pens scored in bkts):
Friendlies 06(1P), League 09(2P), Cups 12(3P), TOTAL 27(6P)

This includes todays match but does not include the "own goal" at Team Bath that was credited to him by other sources.

He last scored:
League: 22nd December, (1) v Yate Town (H)
Cups: 22nd January, (2) v Potters Bar (A) Herts Senior

He has also missed two penalties this season and has been sent off once.
